IKT ACQUIRES FOURTH SMT LINE FOR ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY

The IKT Group has taken another important step in expanding its manufacturing capabilities — acquiring a fourth fully equipped SMT line for surface-mount technology assembly. The new equipment will be installed at IKT Electronics Ltd in Bulgaria, which is part of the IKT Group.

The new SMT line includes state-of-the-art, high-precision equipment: GKG printer for solder paste application, two high-speed JUKI placement machines, 12-zone reflow oven for reliable soldering, as well as automatic board loaders/unloaders and a conveyor system.

Installation, setup, and commissioning of the new line are planned in the coming weeks. This will significantly increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the quality of order fulfillment.

Investment in new equipment is part of the IKT Group’s long-term strategy aimed at continuously developing its technological base and strengthening its position in the European electronics contract manufacturing market.
